LOWER CHAKRAS

LOWER CHAKRA
Think of your lower chakras like the roots of a tree: they create the foundation of your energy body, allowing Prana energy to flow upward into your higher chakras.
While the third eye chakra has become extremely popular to discuss, there is a lack of information on how to build a solid foundation. This leads people to open  their third eye without first grounding their energy.
Without the proper preparation this invites all types of random energy into your perception, which becomes a disaster for highly sensitive people such as empath.
While balanced higher chakras bring about greater creativity and spiritual insight, out of balance higher chakras cause jarring instability. Lower chakra work is crucial for empaths (and everyone else) as it allows you to create a stable base.
The first three chakras are physical in nature, relating to our physical lives and the habits and beliefs we have. The deeper you ground yourself in the lower chakras the greater stability you will feel when receiving incoming energy.

THE ROOT CHAKRA
The root or Muladhdra charkra is the first major chakra. It is associated with the colour red and is located at the base of the spine between the genitals and anus.
The root chakra deals with our sense of belonging, safety and survival. A healthy root chakra will encourage emotional balance, feeling of security and financial abundance.
An imbalanced root chakra  can lead to feelings of fatigue, financial insecurity and anxiety. A blocked root chakra is associated with severe depression, which encourages apathy towards our own well-being and life.
For the empath the root chakra is all about finding a place in a world that often tells you, you don't belong here. It's about finding safety and security in your sensitivity and learning to balance this with daily life and work. The root chakra can be balanced by spending time in nature, practicing gratitude, setting firm goals and making self-care a priority.

THE SACRAL CHAKRA
The Sacral or Svadhisthana chakra is the second major charkra. This chakra is associated with the colour orange and is located right below the belly button.
This chakra deals with our sense of creativity and sexuality, and so our blocks around authentic expression lay here. An imbalance s
Sacral chakra can lead to feelings of shame, guilt, fear and lack of boundaries. An empath's Sacral chakra is often imbalanced (along with the throat chakra) as this largely deals with our expression. Learning how to express yourself without fear as an empath will strengthen the Sacral.
The Sacral chakra can be balance by examining family dynamics, shifting co-dependent relationships, practicing self love and releasing shame.

THE SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA
The Solar plexus or Manipura chakra is our third main chakra. This chakra is associated with the colour yellow and is located at the breastbone (where are ribs connect at the centre of our chest)
This chakra deals with our sense of personal power and will. Our blocks around personal power lay here. An imbalanced Solar plexus chakra can lead to a lack of purpose, willpower and direction.
For the empath a strong Solar plexus chakra means you can be both sensitive and powerful. It means finding stability in your sensitivity so that you can thrive in life.
The Solar plexus can be balanced by setting and working toward your goals, embracing your personal power, observing you unhealthy habits and  practicing patience.
Read these symptoms carefully and check the ones that apply to you. Figure out which of your lower chakras needs work (or if they all do) based upon this.
We all have some unbalanced chakras, this doesn't mean there is anything wrong with us but that we now have insight on how to improve our well-being.
There is no firm rule on how long to work on each chakra although some will require more focus than others. This is an ongoing process so you'll repeatedly find yourself coming back to the lower chakras to solidify your base.
CHAKRA AWARENESS EXERCISE
1. From the space to sit where you will not be interrupted for at least 20 minutes get into a comfortable seated position with your back straight.

2. Do a quick body scan to identify any tension in your body tense then release each muscle group as needed until your physical body is completely relaxed.

3. Now spend a few minutes focusing on your breath or breathe deeply and consciously from your stomach area zone in on the sound and sensation of your breath and allow your thoughts to gently pass by until your mind is calm.

4. Place your awareness in the root chakra which is located at the base of your spine is Eliza beautiful redspear spinning clockwise around your tailbone at first this is tricky but will come naturally overtime.

5. Notice any tension emotion or insight that comes up as you place your awareness here this will highlight the blockages in this area.
Do the same for the next two
chakras visualising orange for your sacral and yellow for your solar plexus. Again take note of any impressions that you gain from this.
Once you have finished, visualise white light flooding your entire body and clearing away any remaining energetic junk. Spend a minute in silence afterward to process everything and readjust.
Don't forget to write down any important insights from your session in a journal for future reference.
It's completely normal to feel a slight tingling sensation in the area of focus. You may find heavy emotions come to the surface or tension makes itself known.
When we first become aware of the energy body we noticed a lot of things about the physical body that we previously ignored - it's all intimately connected.
After a session it is common to feel heavy energy movement and continued momentum for minutes even hours after these sensations will subside overtime and with practice.
